I functioned for many years as the in-house design shop for all Emory Alumni Association events and projects. One of the more prominent of these was the Emory Cares International Service Day, which eventually evolved into a monthlong series of events involving volunteer alumni and staff in community service projects across the world. And with over 140,000 alumni, that means quite a lot of projects!

My role, after iterating the existing design in 2011, was to expand and integrate the new Emory Cares brand (with a logo given to us in 2012) into our "I'm IN" branding rollout. I used the same typefaces and swoop shape so we would have continuity, but gave it a distinct look, with the color palette from the logo that would be clearly recognizable as its own theme. I chose photos, wrote copy, and created graphics for multiple channels, including mass email, social media, t-shirts for the volunteers and volunteer leaders, and event signage for public visibility. It continues to be a popular program with a high level of participation.
